Cyclists riding bikes along the water in Warren County NY

J1 Student Connection

WCSQBO representatives participated in the initial orientation in May of the summer student workers at the Caldwell Church at 71 Montcalm Street in Lake George. Our part was a short PowerPoint Presentation on Bike Safety, similar, but not congruent with this YouTube clip on their website https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDgymRnC5sA&list=PLwxqzWSUHedV-NIYaBUN34x5yA749rMPo&index=1   You can see pictures of this interesting program and other postings  at both their Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/Lake-George-Region-Student-Connection-141708136379510/ and their official website – http://www.lgstudentconnection.com
Two additional workshops in May and June were held for the students. As part of the program, WCSQBO members discussed important safety rules and showed the “Bike Safety” PowerPoint presentation.

The “Bike Safety” presentation will be shown again in August to employees of Great Escape. It is so important to emphasize safe bicycling practices and the rules of the road.

Let us all encourage and support this endeavor, not only the students visiting with us, but this wonderful, local venue!
