Cyclists riding bikes along the water in Warren County NY

Janey’s Ride

Janey’s ride was a great event. Look forward to taking part and supporting this worthwhile ride again next year. Check out the Grey Ghost and BikeReg websites early next year for details of the 2019 ride.

This ride was originally organized to help out the Fairchild family. Shortly before opening Grey Ghost Bicycles, Steve’s wife Janey was diagnosed with breast cancer. After rounds of treatment in Glens Falls and in Boston she is now in remission. This ride is now held to raise money for the Breast Cancer Care & Research Fund at the Glens Falls Hospital, to help others like the Fairchild’s. Grey Ghost Bicycles not only donates the proceeds from the ride to the hospital but a portion of each Grey Ghost Bicycles cycling jersey sold in the shop goes to the hospital as well.

What does the Breast Cancer Fund do? There are many cost that are not covered by insurance. The fund is there to help offset some of these cost.
